Sitting Leads to Obesity, Study Shows
Have a desk job? Here's news you may want to take standing up.
New studies show a link between extra pounds and hours spent behind the desk, particularly among men. Sitting for six hours or more may raise the risk of weight gain by as much as 68 percent.
I really have to change my lifestyle, but it's very hard. The study finds no relation in women, apparently, but I know it's true for me.

isnt it kind of obvious that you wont lose weight by sitting....
It's not like people try to lose weight by sitting. A lifestyle can include a lot of desk work, but that doesn't mean they don't try to do exercise and eat right out of that chair. Geesh. Yes, it's still bad for a person.
